Tiptoes Willerby is on Gorton Road, near to Haltemprice Leisure Centre. It’s ideally located to serve Willerby, Anlaby, Kirk Ella, and Hessle and has excellent links to all the local primary schools.

As with all our nurseries, it is purpose built and is very environmentally friendly. At Tiptoes Willerby, everything is designed on a single level with all age groups having direct access to the outside space and covered area. The nursery has a very open feel about it and has three separate rooms for babies and pre-toddlers, toddlers, and pre-school (aged 3-5).

The security and safety of your children is paramount. To gain access to Tiptoes each parent is given a key fob (proximity fob) and a personal four-digit pin number. Our internal systems monitor and log every single time the front door is opened, from inside and outside. With additional security features, such as an alarm if the door if kept open longer than is deemed necessary. Security cameras monitor all the main outside areas. Access to all children’s areas are via additional safety gates.

Hi everyone.

My name is Chantelle and I am the manager at our Willerby site.

I started at Tiptoes in September 2014 and became the deputy manager of Willerby in April 2019 and the Hessle manager in 2021. I have my foundation in childhood studies and I am currently working towards my Level 6 BA honours degree which will be completed soon. I have the most experience working in the toddler and baby room which I have 5 years experience with.

As a manager the most rewarding part of my role is being able to gain experience working with all children and also taking on my role of SEND co-ordinator which I love doing as I am able to develop and progress the children who need that extra support. I love knowing that everyday is a different experience and the children always bring a smile to my face.

A little something about myself:

I am a confident, approachable, friendly person who will go that extra mile to help anyone in need. I live with my fiancé and our kittens and I love spending time with my friends outside of work. I am ready for my next adventure being the manager at our Hessle site.

Hi Everyone, my name is Fiona,

I am currently working at our Gorton Road site as a deputy manager. I started at Tiptoes in January 2018 and became a deputy manager July 2021.

During my time working for Tiptoes I have experienced working with all age groups in all rooms. I am currently level 6 qualified and I loved learning new skills that would help me be part of the management team. The most rewarding part of my job is seeing the children develop with our support and teaching in place. I am the sites SEND Coordinator and spend time working with other professionals to enhance the development of children who may need additional support. I also spend time in the nursery developing the planning across all the rooms to ensure teaching is being carried out effectively.

A little bit about myself, I am very sociable and love spending time with my family and friends, me and my partner enjoy regular walks and trips out on the weekend.

OPENING TIMES: Tiptoes Willerby is open 07:30 – 18:00 Monday to Friday (except for bank holidays and the days between Christmas and the New Year)

SESSION TIMES: Morning sessions run from 07:30 – 12:30 and include lunch. Afternoon sessions are 13:00 – 18:00 and include afternoon tea. We have very limited availability of half day sessions..
